74-y-o man killed in New Kingston apartment blaze

According to reports, a 74-year-old man died Thursday morning in a fire at the Gallery Apartment in New Kingston.

Several apartments were damaged by the early morning inferno.

Firefighters were called to the apartment located on Oxford Road just after 3 a.m. Two units were dispatched by the Jamaica Fire Brigade.

The fire reportedly started in the deceased man's penthouse apartment on the sixth floor.

The police and firefighters are investigating.
