17-y-o arrested for allegedly stabbing teen

A 17-year-old student of a rural St Andrew address has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident in his community on December 9.

Reports from the Stony Hill police are that at 4:30 p.m., the boy brandished a knife during an argument and inflicted stab wounds to another teen's head and upper body. The injured teen was assisted to hospital, where he was treated. Following an investigation into the stabbing, the 17-year-old was taken into custody and charged after he was pointed out on an identification parade last Saturday.

His court date is being finalised.
